After graduating from Ecole Centrale de Paris and holding a number of positions in the French Finance Ministry, Mr. Citerne joined Société Générale in 1979 as Vice President of Economic Research, Vice President Finance, Vice President Group Human relations, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Executive Officer from 1997 to April 2009 when he retired.

  • Accor Group: Independant Director, senior independant director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. During the transition governance period, from April 23 to August 27, he served as Chairman of the Accor Board of directors. Accor is the world's leading hotel operator with around 3600 hotels and 460 000 rooms.
  • Edenred Company: Independant Director, senior independant director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Edenred is the world leader in prepaid corporate services.
  • MK2 Company (French cinema ‘s leading independent group): Member of the Supervisory Board

Experienced banking executive, he is the architect of one of the most ambitious retail banking developments in Eastern Europe: the expansion of Societe Generale’s operations in Romania from 170 branches at the end of 2004 to over 1.000 points of sales in less than 4 years.

Talented Marketer, Sorin  conceived several powerful campaigns involving legendary sport figures Nadia Comaneci, Ilie Nastase and Gheorghe Hagi.  During one of this campaigns, in just two months, SOCGEN Romania succeeded to sell more than half a million limited-edition cards, gaining a 5% supplemental marketshare.  The success of that campaign was world-wide recognised by VISA International

Passionate about tennis, he inspired the famous Richard Mille watch-maker to create the RM-027 Rafael Nadal Limited Edition watch and he was a contributor for the project and design of Hublot Ilie Nastase - NastieBang - Limited Edition Watch.

Experienced financial officer, Diana supervised Financial, Administrative, HR and Business Services of the Romanian offices of the AMOCO Petroleum Company between 1993 and 2000.

Successful entrepreneur, Diana had several business initiatives in gourmet-cafeteria and luxury industries but now invested in technology.

Innovative banker, Bogdan was involved in shaping up several successful banking concepts in Romania - from modular banking units to automated payments tellers. For several years he was Head of Innovation of the Romanian subsidiary of Societe Generale. He was granted several innovation awards by Societe Generale.

Passionate about design, he signed the design of the award-winning limited edition series of cards dedicated to Nadia Comaneci, Ilie Nastase and Gheorghe Hagi.

Passionate about movies, he helped several brands - Societe Generale, L’Oreal (Romania), Richard Mille - with corporate presentations and movies for several punctual projects on Romanian market.

Nadia Comaneci's Photo
Nadia COMANECI

At the age of 14, Nadia became one of the stars of the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montréal. During the team compulsory portion of the competition on July 18, her routine on the uneven bars was awarded a „perfect ten“. It was the first time in modern Olympic gymnastics history that the score had ever been awarded. During the same competition she repeated the performance not once but 7 times! Even today this performance is regarded as one of the most important achievements in sports.

During her career Nadia obtained 5 olympic gold medals, 3 silver medals and a bronze one. Additionally to that she won 2 World Championships gold medals and another 9 gold medals at European Championship.

Her value has been recognised by many organisations. In 1976, she had been named the athlete of the year by United Press International, Associated Press and BBC. In 1984 and 2004 IOC awarded her with the Olympic Order. In 1997 he was induced to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 2000 she has been declared „The Athlete of the Century“ by Laureus Foundation.

Ilie NASTASE

Ilie "Nasty" Năstase is the first tennis player to be ranked as world’s No. 1 by ATP. He was one of the world's top players of the 1970s and probably one of the most talented ones in history of Tennis. Năstase was ranked world No. 1 between 1973 (23 August) and 1974 (2 June).

He is one of the five players in history to win more than 100 ATP professional titles (58 singles and 45 in doubles). He is the second male player to win a Grand Slam event without dropping a set and the first one to achieve this feat at the French Open (1973).

Ilie Nastase won seven Grand Slam titles in his career: two in singles, three in men's doubles, and two in mixed doubles. He also won four Masters Grand Prix year-end championship titles and seven Championship Series titles (1970–73), the precursors to the current Masters 1000. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1991.
